The water beats down and the spirit rises;
For all it’s worth, what are you now?
A has been that’s yet to be;
Empty vessel to sanctity.

Let the water in to fill your mouth;
Swallow and purge demons out.
A child from a plaything:
The broken bell can chime and ring.

For all it’s worth, what are you now?
Draped in white, holding shadows down.
Can you hold to what makes you strong ;
What else will guide you along?
