Happiness, for some
Doesn’t happen without struggle;
a well-used and worn machine
kept cycling, through work and luck;
does that make it an illusion?
Both question and comment;
an end unique to mean and story;
do we know, and is it worth it
when we see our light, however fleeting?
For the brief flash of a smile;
the “Big Bang” of emotion.
A universe of feeling, there and gone within a moment.
A question and a comment;
a thought to hold on to.
