Lost Sanity
Glass shoes and glass hearts
Lurking quiet in the dark
Shake it off and set It down
Do It all without a sound
Pace the walls of your brain
Inhale the clouds And the rain
Maybe I’m just too fucking old
So I wrap up, embrace the cold
Shut the doors, turn off the light
This Goddamn optimism is much too bright
Gardens tell me not to fret
Who even cares if you get wet
Stand and drown under the grey
Its supposed to be this way
Remember who you really are
All the innocence and the scars
And laugh it off like you do best
The Gardens warned you not to fret
Vines that wrap around my feet
Pull me down for my heat
Crystal castles in my teeth
I’m hiding down in all this meat
It’s nothing really, bones and blood
I’m a lotus in the mud
Not that anyone will ever know
Awkwardness doesn’t really glow
Roll my eyes and sigh a bit
I kind of almost gave a shit
What a silly beast I am
The ever changing, same old Tam.
