The Ugly Adventurer

He heard the damsel screaming
As he stabbed the dragon through
He knew he’d be her hero
Since heroes are now few
He climbed up the crooked tower
And took her from her bed
He carried her down carefully
Hoping one day they’d be wed
He descended down so gracefully
Not once did she think she’d fall
But once at the bottom, he took off the helmet
To find her climbing back up the wall
