supersticious jogger
There was a man once
Who did not step on cracks’
For the fear he had
Of breaking his back
He’d hop and he’d skip
Over lines he’d jump
Till he tripped on his feet
Landing face over rump
He lay on the ground
Weeping in pain
He feared to stand
In case of a sprain
A jogger not looking
Stepped on this mans back
And to his surprise
The sidewalk then cracked
