The Life That Resonates

A life that resonates
Like a fate you wish you were a part of
Those doors, windows and gates
Swing open but remain locked
And that superficial feeling of depth
Standing in ignorance and pride
Loving the notion of love
Smiling to make yourself happy
Longing to be rid of hate
Insecurities
And filled softly and completely
With that life
The life you envy
The life you can smell and so you think you can taste it
Time wasted
Nothing has been eaten
But the fantasy eats away at you
It is the feeling and the idea and so
You wait and wait and wait
For that life that resonates
