Numb
In my daily slumber
Shaken awake by another dream
How you caused me to stir
Wide awake
My heart and eyes beam
Take me
Allow me to learn your soul
Tell me your joy
and what takes a toll.
To dive in your night seas
You’re reflecting the stars
I see you and your depth
From oceans away.
I want to swim
I want to stay
But I am caught in a rip
A rip and a tearing
As this floating heart
