Goodbye To Memories

Spontaneous Poem

I pushed through the dim doubts in my dreams
Ever they are tearing at me it seems
Smaller than the faintest ant
But silence their insults? I just can’t

Trudging into the fathoms of fallacy
Believing everything I see
Trusting my senses to guide
A mistake that destroys me inside

I stand at attention now
Saluting a raging cow
It bellows orders and I obey
I always do what others say

“Self—destruct” is the only path I know
And my fall was quite the show
Too bad no one saw it
All of my crying fits

Oh well, I’ll deal
'Cause I feel I broke the seal
I think I hear life and fun
On those freedom harboring rays of sun

So I’ll give a sturdy shout
Waving goodbye to that weak lout
I no longer feel I’ll die
As I wave my old self goodbye
