Jörmungandr

I have gazed upon the world snake, the God slayer
And the world’s cradle stared back
It’s very eyes, like oceans, it’s pupils, armadas
It’s teeth, greater than any blade
I could see it’s body lacing over mountains, and past the horizon
And beneath me, the tip of its’ tail
Jörmungandr, in all it’s might, was right in front of me
I stared into eternity
And eternity stared right back

This one was about the snake that spanned the entirety of Midgard (Earth) in Norse mythology. I hope you like it.
