I Surrender : A prayer
To my maker
Dear god,
You have been behind all that I have created thus far.
Yet we still have more work to do.
May you use me as a conduit for your divine energy to do your bidding.
You have guided me through the Dark Night of the Soul with your grace.
Now I find myself between the Valley of Death and the Mountain of Life.
May you light my way once more.
May you steer me away from fear and toward love, toward you.
My son introduced us but we have known each other all along.
Be my master. Teach me.
For I am willing and able to do your will.
Let your light be my light.
Let your work be my work.
Let your love be my love.
To you I surrender.
