How Do I Love Me? (Sonnet #1)

How do I love me?  Let me count the ways.
I love me to the depths of my stomach,
and when in line in front of a lummox
I’ll take the last fried rice in the buffet.
I love me to the level of Wall Street’s
blinking Nasdaq and Dow Jones indices.
I love me health care, in case of skinned knees.
I love me in action between the sheets.
I love me with each pair of Jordan’s shoes,
daily muddles and solutions thereof.
I love me with a love I seemed to use
when I just can’t wait.  I love me with shoves
in the back of my foes; I never lose.
I shall but love me over and above.
