If I could hate you
If you had so utterly decimated me
That I couldn’t stand again
It would be easier
If I could fear you
If you were so terrifying
That I had no other choice
It would be easier
If I could mourn you
If you were more than just a stranger
That replies when we speak
But you just had to be perfect
Perfectly shaped for one another
A waking dream who lit my world ablaze
Before extinguishing the fire you ignited.
It would be easier any other way.
