The Sea
Coming up to her is like
A huge ending, a massive
Psychology of being elsewhere,
A stopping, by the large
Mysterious surge, a bringing up
Sharp, a confrontation that
Questions our very existence,
That makes us think
Of who and what we are,
That we have come far
From our comfort zone
As if confronting fear,
An end and a beginning,
A kind of death, alone.
