La música de las chicharras
y el fresco olor a verde real
tamizan la luz a gestos inquietos
entre las hojas de mi álamo blanco.
El sol recorre todos los tonos
del sueño que le vendrá,
y mis ojos, perdidos en la distancia
eternos, escuchan renacer mi soledad...
Mi vida ya no vale nada
ni por una moneda la retendría,
he visto su discurrir sin sorpresas
y sin ya nada de temor.
Me resigno a la ausencia
de algo nuevo, mientras se deshacen
el tiempo y mis pulpejos abiertos
sobre la arena del triste tablero.
Ya no soy yo, queda un espectro de mis andares,
bosquejos de pesadillas, de historias perdidas
sólo sé que tu continuarás cuando no esté yo...
Eso me da sosiego y valor.
Atardecer de verano rojo,
la música continúa,
y las hojas acarician la brisa
que bendice mi desolación.
La luz se apaga mientras
cierro los ojos para verte,
inmenso y magnánimo en mi mente...
Esperaré el amanecer...
