and felt snug in the quiet presence of God’s reach
I’ve slumbered away the idle hours in your arms
and felt nurtured full by nature’s eternal charms
I’ve seen you return my smile in a moment’s pause
and found sweet joy in celebration just because
for I’ve traced the outline of your face in passion
and touched pure perfection in faithful obsession
for you of all God’s creations and you alone
fill my senses and match me in every way done
