Standing in the salt of splattered cheek bones

In these so calm lights culminate a hidden fury
Born out of truth-bearing soil
As hearts bend on earth’s orbit
A verse to the times of our forgotten gems
Dreamt of a fever, splitting the edges
A sweated goodbye stream out of me
In tear-stained shallows of brainwaves
As you take leave of me, violently
Donning wings spread like pillows
Upon my creased face
Crows speak the sky in silences
As blood red is the climate before me
Bat covered in excrement’s
Glimmering loss and hatred
Standing in the salt of splattered cheek bones
Diving the cement canvas
Slipping into the raging light
As minutes tick on like a madman
Scuttling the streets, looking, longing
On bended knee I cross my innocence
Hope-scrawled memories thrusts me
Devirginizing my soul into a whore’s toy
Seeing dark men with dim intentions
Gnarl a tooth my way as their tracks disappear
Among the night watch and sirens chiming
His face, bleeding and falling apart
Between the cracks that held it
All I have now is images swallowing me
Drinking me the coals I have left
Hurling myself at the sun
A hope to be consumed
Dissolving into sunlight
Withering last blinking seconds
Below the murderous foe
That took my friend from me
My heart has been bent and broken
Seeping the ooze into my veins
Clouds shine through the dreary moon
Where the memory of him
Is brilliantly bright
There was no goodbye in the sky
Just a coldness that filled my soul
As he, my  heart was hit with a bat
Under this ruiner
I cannot move anymore
A conduit, a dream
My brother you leave me like blood from my veins
And we cannot move without memories to hold

I drink tonight that it was a a dream
For my heart would truly die
