Tempest

The Storm

Long, thin strikes of light cast down.
The eager soul of nature’s tune,
Draws nearly with ultra blue.
The quickness,
The hunger,
The striking of doom and precious burst
Of collapse.
As the breast of grey collides,
Friction rubbing, and
Explosion again lights the world.
Whistling winds warn watchers
Of the scene,
Egging the sweet droplets to flow from the body
And on to the earth.
