Born a winner in a family of almost all guys and mostly importantly a follower of Christ with a personal relationship with him and can do all things through him cause He strengths me and He never wants to see me fail but succeed. I love poetry and the way it brings out certain emotions in people especially me it gives me the platform to get to the real me and say out things that I wouldn't openly say out to any one else am a poet and wants everyone to be that. with poetry everyone has a platform for open speaking and open minded creativity.
When I was little I loved to write but it was nothing serious I'd write small stories until I became seven years old my life became very hard .Because my great grandmother had passed away by a wide spreading of cancer which killed her at the age of 69 heart broken I began writing papers on poetry that was deep and dark people would wonder if i was goth all the time. AFter that I wanted to write poetry that spoke to peoples hearts that touched thier enter pain and sooth the soul. when I was 14 I love to watch horror movies ( I still do)UNtil I kind of watched marathon and stayed up for at least 3 days and on the forth day I tried to walk an drped like a dead body .
I'm lonely, even when I'm surrounded by people. I always get the impression that I don't fit in. I'm not crazy or anything. I don't cut myself, or torture cats. I just don't know what I'm doing with life at the moment. I haven't had any direction since university, and I thought I'd create a profile here and share some of my writing with you. Thanks for taking the time out to read this.
Bore and raise in Los Angeles, California, Lennell Haley has lived in a variety of locations that gave her wisdom and insight into the human experience. Some experiences she would say are the impetus for many of her writings such as the period she and her family lived in the Imperial Courts Projects(off of 114th Grape Street) in Watts, California. Ms. Lennell Haley received her public school education in the State of California graduating from LeRoy Locke High School in 1973. She attended Southwest Junior College where she received Early Childhood Education Credits which led substitute teaching in the Compton School Distinct. She enjoyed working with students especially in the area of creative writing during the 15 years spent in the classroom. A high moment in her career was when Ms. Haley received publication in 2008 with four poetry pieces being accepted by International Poetry Writing along with an invitation to attend one of the largest poetry conventions in the world. An honor received during the event, held annually in Las Vegas, Nevada, was being awarded runner-up in the Newly Published Writer's category; this occasion was the impetus for other doors to begin opening. Ms. Haley considers her writing abilities a blessing from God and humbles herself gracefully. With no formal training, Ms. Haley says that the words begin to flow from within the moment she opens herself to God and begins to recognize that it is only through Him that she can express herself fully and honestly. She has stated many times that, "I write as the words come forth...period. "Her first memorable piece entitled, "Flowing Angel", was written in 2006. Ms. Haley says, "I was blessed with the skill of poetry writing in the simplest form which helps many others to be able to relate to and be healed by my words. Since 2006, Ms Haley has moved to Tulsa, OK and has published two books. her first book was cathartic being just the tool needed to open the floodgates towards healing. Over time, Ms. Haley penned her second book that opened her eyes as it dealt with a subject many do not acknowledge in the African American community--mental abuse. Her second book entitled "The Covering of God" is about live as a Christian and a sinner with insight into the understanding that if we man/woman falls, they have the right to get back up and try again. Ms. Haley believes that by knowing that as long as we have breath in our bodies each day we will learn something different, this ongoing learning will help us to grow into whom God Almighty created us to be.
Writing for quite some time. I do not have any favorite poets, however The Divine Comedy and The Odyssey are favorite works. I mostly do free form. If its not free form it is a syllable based poem, or anything else. I will change the world with my words. The pen is mightier than the sword.
My name is Megan. I'm 19. I write poems when I can. I'm not a professional but I think poetry is an amazing way to express yourself. My style is quite dark and 'gothic', purely because I have struggled with mental health for five years, and instead of harming myself I write all the hurt I feel on paper. It doesn't work all the time but I guess every time it does makes it all worthwhile. I swear I'm not all doom and gloom!, I love music and animals and reading and art, & I work as a volunteer at my local foodbank. Yeah, guess I have a boring life, but if you'd like to know more gimme a message. Thanks, fellow poets
I was born in El Salvador and raised there till my 6th birthday, the rest until now I've lived in Maryland. I'am the second oldest, the middle child you could even say. I'am a poet from not what I can rhyme but from what i can say to mean what I feel. I've been writing since I could grasp a pen and bail a mark out my spirit. I love the beauty of words and expression, I am the ruby of flies; the source of words that carry an audience. I love poetry its the only drug worth rolling in paper, and the only taste i find it unwinding to saver. This is my biography poetry its self.

As a beginner I simply wish to share my experiences in life that have made me who I am; A strong individual, who possesses the ability to accept the worst of losses such as the trust of close friends, a sister's, a mother's, and a lover's. I write to forget, or perhaps, to live in the past where my heart seems to dwell.
Hello, Everyone & Welcome To My Page. I Just Wanted To Tell You A Little Bit About My Writing. When I Write, I Don't Follow The Well-known Poetry Rules. I Just Write. I Don't Use Big Words In Them Either. To Me, That Makes It More Complicated For The Reader. Especially If My Poem Is Relating To Teenage Issues. They'll Probably Get Lost Along The Way, & Zone Out. Also, Most Of My Writing Is Created Through Emotion. I'm A Very Sensitive Person, So I Write Things Out Instead Of Complaining To Everyone. This Way Is MUCH Easier For Me. I Have Over 400 Poems. I Was Hoping I Could Meet People Who Share The Same Interests & Ideas With Me. My Goal Is To Change The World Through Poetry, & , After All ; I've Got To Start Somewhere.
I've been told that I'm a book of contradictions. I'll start with the basic stuff: I'm 23 years old. I have 3 siblings: one sister and two brothers. I was born in Savannah, GA and raised in the state of GA. After graduating from Gilmer High School, I went through a period of emotional tragedy that led me to the cross of Jesus Christ. At this point in my life, I realized that all of my sins had caused Him to pay the price that I should have paid. Upon this realization, I fell to my knees and repented with all of my heart (the best way I knew how to, anyways). When this occurred, Jesus set me free. He set me free from my sin, from my negativity, from my selfishness, from myself. He gave me love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness and temperance by His Spirit, the Comforter of God's children. He wrote my name in heaven, and He gave me His Word to guide me until the day I get there. Praise be to God for this wonderful gift! So, as you may have guessed, I am completely dedicated to the cause of Christ. Nobody, nothing will detour me from serving my God. Although I may stumble and fail time and time again, I keep getting back up and pushing onward for Jesus. In the end, He is the only One that matters, anyways; everything else in life is ultimately meaningless without God! They say that I have a very eccentric personality; I would concur. I have my "extremes", I suppose. I can be very hyper and energetic with my friends (to the point to where I annoy them), and I can also be very quiet and to myself. It just depends on what mood I am in, really. Overall, I'm an introverted extrovert. Although I enjoy conversing with people, I prefer to stay within myself and to think about the deep things of life. And by deep things, I don't mean just academic stuff; rather, I mean the things that really matter. The things that we will carry with us into eternity. The things that God cares about are the things that we should care about, for God is good, and His Word is good, too. Whatever His Scriptures state is true; that is what we should cling to, for His truth is the ultimate source of truth that we have. Without it, we are ultimately doomed to wander in the darkness of this world. It is a light to the lost sinner and a source of comfort to the redeemed. Praise God for it! I think very abstractly.... that's just one of my personality quirks. I think in angles that most people don't think in. I am also a people watcher; I enjoy sitting back and observing people in the midst of conversation. I'm always wondering what's going through someone's head and why they are thinking that way. I guess I'm just one of those kind of thinkers. My hobbies are simple. I enjoy reading the classics (To Kill a Mockingbird, A Pilgrim's Progress, etc.). I enjoy thinking about stuff. My most joyous past time, however, relates to music. I have a jukebox for a brain, so I always think in terms of numbers and music (math and music go hand in hand for some reason. I enjoy both!). I have been playing guitar for over eight years, and I continue to do so with the utmost joy! I write my own music and apply it to God's Kingdom. Everything you see on here will reflect the goodness of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May it honor and glorify Him!
