Personally my inspiration came from Tupac Shakur! This man was a great lyricist and a poet. He could get his message across with one song full of metaphors and a powerful message! Poetry is stories of all aspects all expressing the deeper connection to humanity, as well as the planet. Thank you Pac for being strong lead in my life 🤞🏽

I've been interested in Art since I was in Elementary school. I have continued to take Art classes until I graduated High School. I LOVE everything; painting, coloring, drawing, sculpting, writing in almost all forms-especially poetry, I sing for fun, I cook, dance, hula hoop, design, I went to Cosmetology School and graduated, and last but not least photography. I'd like to say I'm a pretty creative person with tons of inspiration. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer.

Mahathi is a renowned Indian English poet. So far 6 anthologies of his original poems were published. His 6th book, FINDING THE MOTHER, a trans-creation of SRI SUNDARA KANDA , the 5th canto of Srimad RAMAYANA was critically acclaimed as one of the greatest epic works of modern English poetry. His poetry is known for its great imagery, clear diction, solemn expression and scintillating narration, often laced with fun, pun and satire. Mahathi being a strong protagonist of classical poetic forms of Elizabethan era, naturally his verses have the sublimity of classical accent and flow with lyrical grace. A few of his book reviews, forewords to books of other authors and a couple of articles in prose were also published.
My first memories of writing begin in elementary school when one teacher assigned our class to write a story. He made some very encouraging comments and a writer was born. I have stacks of poems and songs collected over the years. I recently began blogging and found this site and am happy to share some of my work here. I hope you will let me know when you are inspired or touched by what I share with you. You, my readers, inspire me.

I write 'Down to Earth' Poems about things that I see everyday. My poems can be taken in any way though I find my inspiration stems from reading about World Problems and Social differences. My ideas are fueled from daily disappointments over-hearing or reading about unnecessary Social categorizations like Race, Ethnicity, Class, Gender, Sexual Orientation and the Public Self. I write to bring light upon a conforming Society with many faults. I want change.
I became deaf at age 3 and was adopted in a family that later became a broken home..I was sent away at age 4 because my family did not know what to do with me due to my deafness. as result of that..and my views of the world was very dark and hopeless..and I turned 17 thats when my world became a better place because I discovered poetry and one day I just jot down on a paper..my teacher came and asked if i had any traning or had any idea what i was doing which at the time I didn't..so she introduced me to poetry and handed me maya angelou which was her favorite poet. Right there I had an inkling that this would be my salvation and most of all my message to the world and hopes of a chain that can be broken free.
A summary of my life? Gosh, that's a bit personal, don't you think? I'll just tell you how I got into writing. I was about 11. It started out with writing a poem to my brother's dad after he, once again, betrayed our trust. Won't go into that. I wasn't very good, I mean the poem was good and it meant a lot to me but I always had a lot of trouble with punctuation and spelling and all kinds of things, so I had a lot of mistakes. But after that, I started writing fanfiction for Twilight and Castle, along with bits and pieces of things here and there, I wish I'd kept the stories I wrote, they were really good and I was proud of them but I didn't, otherwise I would send you to take a gander. Anyway, it eventually became very obvious that I couldn't keep a story going for more than a couple of chapters without losing interest and falling miserably into the pit of writer's block. However, poetry was easy for me to follow through wih, didn't have to follow any chronological order, and I could write it in short bursts as the inspiration came to me. Slowly, the short bursts turned into days, and then weeks, and months and eventually I landed here, where my sole thought and purpose revolves around poetry. It's gotten to a point that if I couldn't write, I would probably jump off a bridge. It is literally the reason that I am alive today, it save d my life and got me through some of the hardest times in my life.
