I am a teenage girl, lost in a world fucked by society. Writing is one of my outlets, one of my solaces that are saving me from dying in an endless abyss of bullshit. I hope you enjoy my poetry and the bits an' pieces of my soul in every one of them.
I'm a 19 year old female studying English at Cardiff Metropolitan University. My love for poetry stems from childhood, and grew into a sensual exploration of love and femininity as i granduated from puberty! Some may be witty, some may be sad, but that's what life is.
I remember my mothers words before the first day of school in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. “it will be ok. This is a new year. Just be yourself” but back then I didn't have a self, No personality at all. and somewhere along the time that I started to get one, the phrase “just be yourself” started to die and what came as a replacement was “don't be this” “don't be like that” “don't wear this” “suck in your stomach like that” and so I began to write poetry.
19, student, writing since before I can remember but only just found my voice.
