Doubt Fears Pain, and Sorrowfully Regrets Love

Doubt;
Envious of certainty
And sceptical of joy,
She stalks us through life
Like a shadow of murderous crows.

Fear;
Anxious of affection
And Terrified of the world,
He treads in our wake,
With the footsteps of Death.

Pain;
Afflicted with scorn
And wounded by experience,
He brands us with his fury,
Making promise of mortality.

Sorrow;
Overflowing with mourning
And void of compassion,
She swallows our vessel
To the sunken depths of life.

Regret;
With vengeance in his soul
And rage in his heart,
He buries us alive in
The tomb of our own past.

But Love...
