Mellow Strings

Sounds so mellow my spirit softens
Rising from the grave it slowly hums
To a new day, a new song, forever glowing
Singing to the brooks and with their flowing

Romance in bloom with the rising sun
Clothed in satin by the angels spun
Violins whispering to the ear of my heart
My skin so shivers, screaming from the start

Of thee, music, I gently fall into your depth
Thou hast captured me as I so wept
Cried with beauty that you placed before me
She sung to me a soothing haunting melody

Mellow strings, sweet mystery of sound
I can taste what you did to me
