Country roads, crawling galleries,
The Dog Days of summer’s viewing,
Lazy maples sitting along the shoulders
Casting pictures of vibrant greens
Through the openings of the leaves
In cadence with Mother Sun and Wind,
Dancing in view of the beholder,
Pulling out the poetry from deep within,
Inciting the sleeping paradise in the soul
As the sun slowly creeps toward eventide.
Behold the long green shadings
Along the beauteous country road.
