The Sonnet of Sages

An ocean spilled in the listening pines,
And timelessness swelled in auroral eyes.
Emotions that severed liquescent lines
Now soar with wings in awakening skies.
The wave that raged in a furious wake
With love enough to fill a thousand seas,
Caused every fiber to tremble and quake
As it brightened the passing centuries.
And if one should seek love’s equal measure
To bond the horizon with endless light,
Then seek within the heart’s hidden treasure
And shine anon through the ebony night.
In vision we see what escapes our speech;
Send love to all, and to all - love will reach.
