The Lotus Mind

The blue, blue sky overhead
Sings the everlasting tune..
The mind is freed from its prison
Feelings, and thoughts all immune
From the tentacles of the “self”
Where one can only view and adore
The mystic ways of the bluer world
That keeps seeking for more..
The ever so vicious past
Conjures a stupendous cage
To bind the revolutionary mind
With the ego full on its rage
But only under this blue sky
Above the snowy hill
The mind is free of the sense of ownership
Shattering the grill..
Where the lotus mind is so untouched
By the muddy hatred, delusion and greed
When man can act with true freedom
As to carry the past, he has no need
Where egoism attains peace
The wise words of Padmasambhava
Rings through the earth and skies
Like manifold drops of rain..
“Let, I do not have, I do not understand, I do not know
Be repeated over and over again”
