It’s been so long..

So many days have passed since
We last did speak
For so many ages we have not met
But it’s not you, whom I seek
A long time has elapsed, you know..
So many winters, springs have gone
Since the day we last met
That evening.. that twilight.. that sunset..
The red red rays on your sanguine face,
The blissful mind as Fate was kind
I still cherish those..

Those fleeting thoughts.. those immortal memories..
Oscillates into my consciousness…
I try to forget, only to remember
The not kept, forgotten promises
A deep sense of loss runs through my senses
The sudden coldness freezes me
I shudder in horror, and with fear,
As I can see the end is near
The end is near.. Oh can you hear?
Don’t you see, its time to flee?
It is the beginning of the end

Those days now seem, as a dream
As I remain entangled with solitude
All else is lost, all else was fake,
But what about the gratitude?
Is it archaic, or was it all a dream?
A dream to dream was all I desired
And it had to end up as a nightmare
I know, with me Fate was never fair
‘Twas my fault and you did add salt
To my wound, and it swelled and ballooned
My tears have dried you know…
