Cloud Nine
It’s funny how quickly things changed.
From just a couple of weeks ago
We’ve come from being only friends
“Hey look at this picture”
“I’ll be there for you whenever”
To kisses in your car that night
“Let’s go on a picnic together”
Butterflies in my stomach.
I think of you and smile,
They just say I’m on cloud nine
But sometimes all I can do is sit and think
How quickly everything’s changing
I got caught in the midst of a hurricane
Carrying me along for the ride
And there’s no place I’d rather be.
