“To walk into nature is to witness a thousand miracles.”
~ Mary Davis

Tow’ring snowcapped peaks
Highlighted in blue canvas
Frame few can outclass
Fields of evergreens
Birds hover in escadrilles
Into distant hills
In meadows thither
Wildflowers in vernal bloom
Nature’s sweet perfume
From brooks rustling sounds
Suffusing the mise-en-scène
Fresh air pure and clean
Solitary deer
Grazing while hungry eyes stare
Sadly unaware
Bees and butterflies
Buzzing and wings fluttering
The breeze whispering
From the east a flash
Followed by roar of thunder
Brush dry as tinder
What a beautiful day spent
A lasting gift heaven sent
To watch nature’s tapestry
Beauty mixed with tragedy!
