You are no God

You kneel there
So far from grace
Look at what you were
And what you have been reduced to
It seems not so long ago that I feared you
Your will seemed almighty
You were deific
But now I know
You are no God
You are a child
You have taken so much
And yet now
When faced with a true opponent
You cower
You squirm
In agony
And you beg for mercy
Let me ask
Did you give them mercy?
No
You are no God
You do not get to decide who lives
Who dies
And I stand here
Blade in hand
Sun glinting a soft red glow
From the glistening crimson edge
It may seem hypocritical
But now I am more
I have risen above you
I have ascended
I am a God
And you
Will
Fear
Me
