“Psychosis can be understood as a breakdown of boundaries, both internal (like the self) and external (like reality), leading to difficulty in distinguishing between what is real and not, and a sense of being overwhelmed or invaded”– Google AI

The internet can be understood as a space without boundaries
And the more time we spend on the internet
The weaker our boundaries become
Until we see no boundary between reality and the internet
Because we no longer recognize boundaries anywhere
As spacetime and cyberspace melt into one another
Diluting their inhabitants–
Us–
Until we disappear
Into the unrecognizable smear
Of a collective psychosis
Providing the illusion of reality to all those in the collective
Until the collective becomes the new reality
And believing in yourself is considered psychotic
While believing in God
Which is how you come to believe in yourself
Is dismissed as collective psychosis
Leading to an attempted lobotomy
By excising the original monotheists
Whose absence will form the memory hole
Through which God and man can be forgotten
In favor of the unnameable and unbounded unreal
