MOM
Your hurt is finally gone,
You’re in a safer place now,
Your time on this Earth with us could have been longer;
But we will remember that you are with us no matter where this life leads,
Your heart beats with ours and your spirit lies softly by our sides,
Our days are your days and our nights are yours as well,
Our Sun and Moon are yours too,
Our souls are as one;
Walking through this life, apart but together always,
We will reach out our hands and feel you there,
Close our eyes and see you there,
We will listen and will here you whisper to us;
Sending us your love from above,
And even though we are all sad and the hurt runs deep,
We know that you are finally at Peace….
This is dedicated to my beautiful and wonderful mom who passed away November 15, 2010.
