The Buddleia

The buddleia  bush is reaching high
Pushing up towards the sky,
And bending down upon my car,
So someone looking from afar
Might think my car was being caressed,
Or even think it being blessed,
With purple flowers resting there,
Nature reaching out for a dare.
But I am careful when I drive
Seeing butterflies and bees alive
Drinking nectar and gathering pollen,
The summer season so sweetly swollen,
In scent that simply is divine,
Where honeysuckle does entwine.
