Just A Poem

To my Ethan

Lips to lips;
tongue on tongue.
A thousand words
are being sung.

Hand in hand;
face to face.
Baby, you’re my
saving grace.

Shifting slowly,
sighing softly;
In the past I fell
and then you caught me.

A gentle tug
upon my ear;
my heart is pounding.
Can you hear?

I breath you in
until I’m numb;
emotions inside
just seem to come.

What is this feeling?
It’s something new,
but something
I’ve always felt for you.

Just let it last;
don’t let it fade.
It feels I’m alive
since the past decade.

Words are soft,
and spoken quick.
I give your jaw another lick.

You nibble at my neck;
your tongue searches me.
It feels like I’m bathing
in a symphonic sea.

Don’t want it to end.
My lover, my friend.

Take each day and walk with me.
Let’s walk the shores and sail the seas.

Whether distant or near, we have something fresh.
A sense of longing in spirit or flesh.

You seep into my mind.
How should we spend the passing time?

Ragged breathing
and breathlessness;
I’m tingling
with this helplessness.

I take my heart and soul;
and give them to you.
They are fragile,
so be careful with what is true.
