AN OLD MAN IN THE SNOW
I saw an old man; he was shuffling through the snow
I said, Where are you going, he answered, I don’t know
The shelters are full of young people, all the food is gone
I have no money left, and nothing more to pawn
Why don’t you call a relative, do you have a phone
The Obama kids all have them and they are not for loan
Your hands are nearly frozen; thru’ 'ur shoes I see your toes
There’s holes in that old coat, do you have a change of clothes
The old man wiped a tear away, he said, I once had riches
'Til the government programs started hav’n all those glitches
I was owned a business, built with hard work and prayer
The regulations really hurt, then came Obama Care
I tried hard to get a loan from the Small Business Authority
The turned me down because, I wasn’t a minority
I asked the old man if I could help, He said I’d rather tough it
I made it once, I will again, or my name’s not Warren Buffet
