Gwen’s Birthday Party

Another poem for my sis

Gwen’s Birthday Party

The plans had all been made
And it was perfect weather
To head out to Grandma’s
For a family get together

The girls had all arrived
And some of the Grandkids
Steve was lurking near the food
Opening up the lids

The kids were getting restless
Where was Grandma Gwen
Kevin looked out toward the road
He said, “She’s driving in.”

They all admit that it was hot
And most would be hard pressed
To say the heat did not affect
The way that they were dressed

Gwen had been out shopping
She was covered by a gown
When she threw it off
Her family looked around

Vickie’s mouth flew open
But from it came no sound
Her eyes rolled back into her head
And she fainted to the ground

Ginger’s face was ashen white
She could hardly breathe
Steve looked up at Gwen
And fell down to his knees

He had beer in one hand
In the other, chicken thighs
He quickly grabbed his handkerchief
And covered Brandi’s eyes

Lorrie slowly turned around
Sipping on a Sprite
She hollered out to Kevin
The girl’s can’t see this sight

Sandy nearly upchucked
When she got a glance
George laughed so hard
He nearly wet his pants

Then Shannon finally spoke up
She said this thing is wrong
Who wants to see their Grandma
Modeling a thong.
