The Jellyfish

So beautiful. I’m mesmerised by your essence.
You’re natural, all natural, you make no efforts, precious...
You’re precious, picturesque is she,
The Jellyfish of my eye, floating so free.
I shadow your movements, I’m under your feet,
Like seaweed I blend in, inconspicuously.
You meet others, the deeper you travel,
Into the sea you start to unravel,
More beauty, more mystery than I have to offer,
So I try to withdraw as I don’t wish to suffer.
You're difficult to ignore, you're contraband...
I watch you go from the palm of my hand.
A loss like you, a Jellyfish so bright,
To some other creature, who is able to fight - for you.
All I’ll ever feel like, is ageing seaweed,
Collateral damage - simply me.
You can carry on, in search of your favourite creature,
But let me tell you now, I can’t watch anyone be with her.

I'm not lesbian not that I have anything against those who are.
I hope you know that I'm sorry - DVB.
