You’ve been my inspiration, my love, my life....and it’s so hard to say good-by
But I’ll cherish every moment, when we’d laugh or cry
I know you are up there, watching every move I make
And you’ll watch over me, with every step I take
I’ll never understand why you were taken away so soon
But the memories will shine brighter than the moon
I’ll miss that inspiration and I’ll cry a million tears
You’ll watch over me so carefully and soften all my fears
You filled my world with happiness, something so hard to find
Your heart so full of love, so giving, warm and kind
The friendships that we’ve made and laughter that we shared
No one on this earth could ever compare
I know you want no sadness or falling tears
Just to celebrate your life, through all the coming years
Your smile I’ll see it always, our loves still in my heart
As I slowly let you go, as our souls finally part.....
