merry christmas kiwibird
Written in a brief moment of calm and clarity
you’ll wake me up at 4am,
and will not let me be,
and though I may swear a little bit,
I’m glad that you’re with me.
I may stress out a little,
and make a lot of fuss,
but its coz I want it to be perfect,
for just the two of us.
I may put you up on youtube,
coz I want the whole world to see,
how proud I am of my beautiful son,
and how he means the world to me.
I know its a big change for you,
from what we used to have,
but I want to show you all the good,
and that our new life’s not that bad.
ill try my best to make you happy,
and even when ur older and tall,
I’m your mam and I love you so very much,
and will always give you my all.
so remember this christmas when I’m freaking out,
and moaning that you’re too loud,
there’s no place else on earth id want u be,
and my son you make me so proud.
next year will be so much better,
just you wait and see,
ill have a home and money and a silent prayer,
a perfect Christmas for 3.
