A sunny life is redeemed with this.
Some, many things are too heavy to even try and understand.

So, like, for instance, death—where do you stand
on how it feels to know that your life is not all great, not all grand?
We all do know our days are planned.

is ignored easily on your summer’s double—date.
Is it our fear of tears, fear of fate,
that makes us laugh or sing a song about a state?
In all of us, an emotion is innate.
Where is it precisely the good person goes?

Your smile, so mild compares with a daisy—
Not a grimace, not a grin, you seem blissfully lazy.
Don’t hurt when a loved one says flippantly “You’re crazy.”
You saw those birds fly out to sea
that time on a boat just you and me.
Drowning, people get water in their nose,
or crying while lying a

You know what! Life is a tussle.
Who is smarter? Who’s got more muscle?
But I think, yes, now pretty sure—
not much hurts worse than a timely gust’ll.
That’s how we know when the baby loons rustle.
But what is wrong with shooting crows?
Somebody somewhere sees each
Vict’ry Rose
Read a book.
Catch a fish.
Catch a look.
Know your only secret wish.
Sing a song.
Throw a stone.
Right a wrong.
Know you aren’t ever alone.
These ideas are meant to help, not harm.
So when you’re on a mountain, or on the farm,
alone, awake, afraid of harm—
Think of words that’ll keep your heart warm.
No cause for alarm.
The good Gardener knows what he sows.
Seeds that bear

Now laugh, smoke, drink, &
cause a scene while you can.
Don’t ever stop—think—
Just be better than
a sad old man in a room all alone forever.

as he breathes his last breath.
