Ten : Ten

"I took the little book out of the angel's hand and ate it, and in my mouth it was sweet as honey; and when I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter."

I was only looking out of curiosity.
—Didn’t expect anything to apply directly to me.
But His ways are a different type than ours.
Our minds with His book are set freer, and on track, in tune.

Think mathematically.
What are some numbers you like?
Trust me, you’ll see,
this exercise will tease your timid psyche.

So I took the days I was born.
October (tenth month). Ten (the day).
And I prayed that the word would be shown.
On the knees, that’s how I feel we should pray.

The Revelation at chapter and verse that were ten
I found what applied to the death of my friend.
And strange as it is, I found it written.
So in a way I felt triumph, reward, the win.

In a room for a time deemed indefinite-tough.
I spoke with the angel who offered the key.
She knew that I was going through the ruff.
And she handed the little book over to me!

In a way, you could say that I ate it whole.
In a way, I consumed that book as my meal.
In a way, that book restored my soul.
Anyway, it opened my eyes to what’s real.

And it was sweet like nobody could near comprehend.
As I knew it was what my eyes craved for.
And when I had had it my good friends life ended.
Speak of bitterness, what could be more so?

So I found my favorite passage that night
on my knees reading, begging to see His light.
So go now and think of your numbers and pray
that maybe he would show you His word and His way.

If you want to tap into the "illuminati," accept what you know to be the highest power on earth (Christ) and take a different approach. Who ever said superstition is the wrong way? If you pay attention to the right things, He will set you free in the way you most desire.
