Futures Bright

I am a proud and mighty apple seed
Sown here for Mother Nature to lead
She will wake me from my slumber
And pull me up from way down under

I’ll see the light for the time will come
When I rise in full glory and see the sun
My future’s bright, I’m in good hands
From my fertile home, best in all the lands

Nature’s kind, unfailing, and so very strong
She’ll take me to where I do belong
In the finest orchard with all the rest
Encased in crimson colored skin at best

I shall be chosen for the sumptuous feast
Where all the nobles gather from the east
My savory taste is much to be desired
I give my all for that which is required
I am that little apple seed that grew
From obscurity to a life of prominence
