The Little Lady (Wife)

His spouse doesn’t raise the roof—an eyebrow will do
He’s the boss of the home—he has other dreams too,
Two minds with a single thought—guess whose?
The last time he spoke out—really was news!

He gave her an inch, now she’s the ruler
The hot looks he wedded have become much cooler;
He’d strike for his rights—but he dassn’t be rude
One he was passionate, now totally subdued.

Their relationship is mutual, he’s the mute
When she opens her mouth she really does toot;
They are always in harmony—he plays second fiddle
He’s captain of the ship, lets the admiral belittle!
