South of the Border
Our vacation was great—visited south of the border,
Happy to be home—system out of order;
Such a sad story, sorry to relate
Every time I return—it’s to Kaopectate!
Weak as a kitten, sweat on my brow
Why did it happen? I just don’t know how;
Pills in my water, no raw foods did I eat
The weather was perfect—not too much heat.
I’m not complaining—do not despair
The suffering I’m enduring, I can easily bear;
I’ll recover—never you fear,
And plans I’m making—to return next year!
