My emotions are always playing a game of risk
Fear knows rage like rage knows pain
Pain knows love like love knows fear.
Every time I love, fear wins
Every time fear loses, rage wins
Whether rage wins or loses, pain always triumphs.
When my heart is spun too fast
The lines between emotions blur
Each pulling a corner in different directions.
But what if these emotions are a blob of nothingness
A hybrid of positives and negatives
Shapeshifting into different moods, different hues.
There’s beauty even in the ugliest of emotions
Pain in the happiest of memories.
Emotion is fear; it’s overpowering
Emotion is rage; it’s destructive
Emotion is pain; it’s ephemeral
Emotion is love; it’s alive.
