Sweet Song

Behold My Rose

The sun has risen
Now the dew cluster the flowers.

Let me have my rose
Let me alone pluck her
The long stem and red petals
Let me alone smell her fragrance
Behold her beauty.

Tonight a celebration with incense
Tonight I shall sing to her.

A lovely night sans incense few days before marriage.

Very romantic poetry. Reminds me of Shakespeare a little.

Nice Brod

I see that you have written poems over the years. Glad you decided to let them the light of day.

I wish I have copies of poems I wrote long ago. Lost them all. I rewrote one from memory - Jeremiad

Thank you Brod. Read Jeremiad. Strong metaphors. I posted my comments.
