Brevity is the soul of wisdom
Let not the winds fan the embers
Been said
Less words spoken
The more understanding
Fully understood had words not
Been said
Yes brevity is the soul of wisdom
A cut to the chase haiku
But wisdom is never brief
In abstraction
Chances are
It can step back
To get a better perspective
A better point of view
To get a bigger picture
A succinct understanding
To get more with less
To contain
The fire will suffocate itself
When the winds die down
The noise shuts down
Let the winds not fan the embers
Listen more instead
Draw from your soul of wisdom
Speak with brevity

Words unspoken but action taken with a happy ending.

I accuse myself of too many words written. I have to cut them a bit. I always have to explain things; whereas in poetry it is better to leave them unexplained.

Like you said early on “long story short” what poetry is.
