Tomorrow,
Everything’s all out of the place, and all just the same.

Could you look in my head; pull a rabbit from the hat
And through my eye,
Give it a name, a how and a why?

It’s the things everyone’s said,
The meanings wired to their bones
Keeping things moving, muscling up to some truth
That swings me around;
Contradicting instead
Of building upon ideologies,
Taken all into account
What’s being bred out for me?

We wait for a reason
To drop by and tell us what we should be;
When they all fall in at once
Who’s slowing down to think
What’s coming in to form
The structure of identity?
