It’s important to me to live in a city

with museums, big league sports, nightlife,

so that I can enjoy staying home

Baltimore has a subway I’ve never once been on

When I lived in Los Angeles I actually

went to the beach a few times

Despite being single, it was like having a secret second family

so I got out after a year and returned

to Baltimore where,

since my wife gave up treyf,

I no longer eat in the restaurants

My sense of smell is now almost as acute as a labradoodle’s
