I start again

I cried in pain and I shed some tears
I looked high and low, I looked everywhere
Like the passing shower you came from no where
Drenched me silently and vanished into the thin air

For the new relation to begin I am forgetting the old
I live for the present and stick to it as the day unfold
Yesterday has gone by, and with it it’s memory
And from now on I must, scribble a fresh new story.

My intentions were always good, but hers was not
Now it matters to me no more, whatever had she thought
Memories of our past– It’s all forgotten
I start my life anew, with this heart that I’ve won.

I now truly end my relation, relationship with this girl
And I am happily accepting my days ahead, as it unfurl
This new-found love of mine, she’s humble and sincere
I have found solace with her– I now have nothing to fear.

She might not be charming nor might she be rich
And I don’t care a bit if you call her pretty or a witch
For till I breathe my last, she’ll be the lady I’ll adorn
My days ahead seem roses now all without no thorn.
