Always wandering in endless directions

And now my body is covered with frost

I’m freezing in my shell

The shell of my home

This is what it truly feels like

To be all alone

I can’t feel anything

Nothing at all

I’m buried by the debris

That came tumbling on top of me

My walls

They keep falling

Crashing upon me

I keep building them back up

Just for my entire being to freeze

I’m frozen

Laying in one place

This is who I am

A solid mask placed upon my face

With eyes swollen shut

And a mouth unwavering

I’ll never smile

I’ve never smiled quite right

I can look at the sky

I can realize

This world is mine

It may be ugly

But it’s also beautiful at times

There’s so much I’d love to save

So many lives

I can’t save any

I can’t even save mine

I’m my own worst nightmare

I’m my own forbidden enemy

I can’t say much

All I have is this

All I can say is that I’m sorry

I’m ever so sorry

This world isn’t what it seems

What I say isn’t always what I mean

But this I know as truth

I’m so sorry

I’m so sorry for what I’ve done to you

All of you

I can’t make amends

It’ll never be enough

Please leave me to rot in my own creation

My own created hell

When I’m rotting inside what I call myself

I can look to the sky

This world is beauty
